A completed Apotheosis reveals Performance Testing data
In June of 2014, Apotheosis was performance tested at the Tiverton High School track.
The data is as follows:
Apotheosis achieved a top speed of 23 MPH and traveled 50 miles on 2 LifePo4 batteries, rated at a combined 1080 watt-hours. 1080 watt-hours of electricity divided by 50 miles = 21.6 watt-hours per mile
1 gallon of gasoline is rated at 33,560 watt-hours of electricity.
Apotheosis' 1080 watt hours / 33,560 watt hours = 3.22% of a gallon for 50 miles of travel.
3.22% of a gallon, at todays price of $3.20 is 10.3 cents for 50 miles or .209 cents per mile
50 miles (or 3.22%) x 31.055 % (the remaining 96.78% of the gallon) = 1552.75 MPGe
