Mr. Edwin D. Fernandes: a teacher of 29 years (retired in 2019) and Department Chairperson of Technology Education at Tiverton High School. Mr. F also worked as a Chrysler mechanic and spent many years in the electronics and manufacturing industries prior to teaching. He taught woodworking, electronics, renewable energy, web design, drafting and architectural drafting. Mr. F also repairs old clocks, is an avid distance runner and swimmer.

Alec - back with us from last year as Test Driver, Alec is now our Chassis Engineer. He also brings to the project his superb all-around mechanical and fabricating skills. An amazing young man with great promise, vision and more energy than a barrel of monkeys !

Cody - new to Project EV, this young man is also a master at fabrication and knows his way around tools.
His hobbies are fixing anything, taking things apart and tractor pulls.

Hannah - also known to us as "Hannah-Rozanna-Danna", Hannah is the "Danica" of Project EV. She is back with us again as Test Driver. I am humbled by her tenacity, talents, focus and poise.

Zach - last years' chassis engineer and Technology Student of the Year, an alumnus who is a perpetual supporter and friend to Project EV. A gifted and talented young man who could make a washing machine fly if put to the task !!

Ryan - last years' chassis engineer and Technology Student of the Year, a gifted, multi-talented and consciencious young man who built his own solar array for a Senior Project. Ryan is majoring in engineering at a local community college and works for Home Depot.

Nathan - This fine young man works for a local composites manufacturer and posesses amazing hands-on skills. Confident and mature, he has taken a wide array of courses with us and will be our all-around go-to guy !

Cory - New to Project EV, and known to us as "Skrillex", this cantankerous young man enjoys splitting wood and is skillful with a chainsaw. He also knows his way around hand tools. Cory's job is chassis paint prep, fit and finish.

Chris - This amazing young man, a senior, decided to build Pioneer independently as his Senior Project. Bristling with energy and gifted with exceptional talent, he single-handedly redesigned both the chassis and solar array. This design change reduced the weight of the chassis and made the solar array substantially more powerful. He will attend a local college for civil engineering.
